Can we please stop shaming other people for the way they choose to heal?⁣

I truly find just as much healing and expansion at a festival as I do when I’m immersed in nature. They each allow my soul to experience different kinds of healing. ⁣
⁣
We have all felt the peace & stillness that is nature. Even if you don’t get in nature as much as you’d like, you know the feeling; it’s an understood form of healing. ⁣
⁣
But you may look at the first clip with a tinge of judgement/confusion… ⁣
⁣
Here’s the thing: If you’re constantly focusing on healing in one area, you’re neglecting the rest. If you don’t explore other possibilities, you are missing out on deeper growth & release. Try something new! Set an intention and create a safe space within yourself so you get the most out of it. 🙏🏼⁣

At a show/festival, I’m surrounded by this incredible close community of likeminded souls that have flowed into my life, who embrace the fullest happy hippie expression of me, who share values of peace, love, unity and respect. (Shoutout Boogie crew 🦒 🤍) And then I share smiles, vibe & dance with who you may call “strangers,” who I simply call “souls.” The bass wakes up my entire being. I move my body freely without fear of judgement. I close my eyes, place my hand over my heart, remember that through it all, we are all just souls in bodies, in a human experience on this Earth. Nothing is meant to be too serious. We are here to play, share, dance, heal, expand, and we are encouraged to do all of this through EDM. ⁣

This is sacred to me, to my soul… No one else needs to understand it. ✨ ⁣

On my autoimmune journey I’ve found deeper healing through unconventional modalities than things like medications and diet alone. But again, that’s my own experience. Your higher self will guide you to the find healing you need. It is within you, always. You just have to listen. ⁣

Daily life hurts sometimes...

Life with rheumatoid arthritis means some days, things like walking the dog or picking up a pan can hurt.

It means some days, carrying a grocery basket can irritate your fingers and wrists no matter how you adjust.

It means some days, natural remedies just don’t cut it and you have to take drugs, which makes you feel like a failure.

It’s being in some degree of discomfort or pain...every single day.

It’s always trying to figure out what you did or what you ate to cause this flare up...
& sometimes, flaring up for no apparent reason.

It’s wondering if people think you’re full of shit because they can’t see your symptoms.

I rarely share this side of things because it’s hard for me to share without feeling like I’m complaining. Because this is my life every day.

But through it all, I always come back to one statement:
I am g r a t e f u l. ✨

Grateful that I can still move my body
Grateful that I have an incredible support system
Grateful that I can still manage my symptoms really well
Grateful for the deeper healing I’ve been able to experience as a result of this health journey
& Grateful that I can share what I’ve learned with you in the hopes that your journey gets a little easier 🙏🏼

I don’t share this as a ‘poor me,’ but as an offer of support to anyone dealing with any ‘invisible’ disease. You should NEVER feel alone or unvalidated for what’s going on internally, whether mental or physical. Know that you’re not alone. And I am here as your guide to a higher vibe, happier, more aligned life. 💖

What you see is what you get. I pride myself on the fact that when new autoimmune clients start working with me, they feel like they already know me because of what they see here on social. There is no façade. I am who I am and you either click with that or you don’t. 🥲 (no shame either way, I know I’m not for everyone lol)

One of my favorite memories is when I met a current Wellness Method client and new client for dinner here in Seattle a few months back. I was meeting both of them in person for the first time… When I walked up, the new client looks at my current client and says “it’s her, she is literally the same” and my client goes “yup!” I’ve met 6 virtual clients in person at this point and every one of them is always stunned when I’m exactly who they’ve known through Zoom calls & live content for months.

((( Isn’t that crazy that we are SURPRISED when someone is the SAME as what they seem online… Shouldn’t that be the NORM!?! 💀)))

I want every single person I meet for the first time in person to walk away saying “she’s the exact same!” Because what a draggg when someone just isn’t who you see here on social?! It’s a catfish situation but with someone you look up to or want to be friends with. 🥸 F THAT!

While I obviously can’t show every single aspect of who I am through a screen, I try to give you the real deal of what my life is. The good, the awkward, and sometimes the ugly. Honestly, I feel like I’m still not even able to show the fullest expression bc of myself even through videos but I try to give you a good taste. 💃🏼

If you feel like we need to be friends, reach out! My favorite thing about social media is making new friends (no joke, a lot of my closest friends over the last 5 years have been made via social media - and then we meet in person and it’s like we have known each other for a lifetime)! My inbox has been weirdly quiet the last few weeks so let’s spice it up. 😛

The second leg of our trip didn’t go as planned…really at all. 🥸 It was rainy & SUPER windy the whole week we were there (thankfully, it was still relatively warm). Most of what we planned on doing was outdoor adventures so we decided to use the week to kind of reset, cook our own meals again, and explore the city a bit.

We a couple of AMAZING restaurants too! Anddddd then we found out about an EDM music festival literally a 5 minute walk from our Airbnb 🙃 sooo of course we sent it and danced in the rain all evening, even made some new friends. I also got to meet one of my autoimmune clients in person for the first time! (That makes 6 clients I’ve gotten to meet in person around the world after working together virtually) 🤯

Overall, we got to let our inner child play a lot and got back to routines after being a bit more lax when we were in Wellington. This part of our trip was a big lesson in patience, flexibility, and finding joy no matter what. 🙏🏼
